Barry Samuel Brown, 86, of Windermere, FL, died peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2022, just three days short of his birthday. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Ruth (Welker) Brown. He earned his Master’s Degree from the Florida Institute of Technology and was employed as a manufacturing engineer until retirement. He proudly served his country for 20 years; 13 years in the U.S. Air Force and 7 years as a Chief Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army and did two tours of duty during the Vietnam War. Barry was a Tampa Bay Rays fan and enjoyed watching games every chance he got. Barry will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. He is survived by Merrie “Dianne” Brown, his devoted wife of 33 years; his children: Bruce Brown, Jeffery Brown how passed away on May 5, 2022 and wife Ashley, Christine Ligonis and husband John and his adored grandson, Andrew John Ligonis. In addition to his parents, Barry was predeceased by his brothers, John and Allen. Barry will be laid to rest with military honors in Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
