 It's been three years since Benjie passed away. And not a day goes by without thinking of him. I'm sure he knows how much we love and miss him.
 And I know without a shadow of doubt that he is in heaven. 
 The last couple of weeks before he passed away, you could hear him praying out loud asking God to help him.
 God did just as he asked, he forgave him of his sin and took his pain away.

Revelation 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
 and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
 neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away

He's gone but not forgotten.

Sure do miss you!!! All of us will be together on Sunday to celebrate Easter,and you will not be there.I know you will be watching from heaven and waiting on us to meet you there.Does not seem right still.I love you and miss you.Happy Easter you will be celebrating with the one man that it is all about.

Although I was not able to be at the funeral my thoughts were with the entire family. The few times that I have had the chance to see my Uncle Benjie he was always real quiet, but he was a man who would do anything to help someone in need. Uncle Benjie will be remembered by all who have had contact with him and who have been blessed to cross his path through out his life. He will be missed.

Granny Queen My thoughts are with you especially because you are his mother and anytime a mother loses a child it hurts. I love you and will continue to pray for you and healing within your own heart. God bless your grand-daughter Tiffany. I love you.

R.I.P. Benjie you are in a better place now and you are pain free. My prayers are with Benjie and the family.

Benjie will always be in our hearts. He was a great man who loved to hunt and fish. He will truly be missed but, we know he is in a better place. We love you and will miss you!

I can not comprehend just how sad you must feel for the loss of "Uncle Benjie". I know this sad time must still feel unreal.

I hope, from the bottom of my heart, that your pain will decrease, and that your spirit will gain strength again,

I have many good memories of Benjie when we were young. Back then he was like a little brother. He was sweet kind and funny. Once he went with me to the Navy Base in Orlando shopping and we got lost!! It was a fun day.
I had not seen him in years but thought of him often. I know he will be missed by so many.

Uncle Ben ,With me being one of the oldest of your nieces and nephews I have alot of very special memories of you.I hope you knew, and I believe you did  know how much I love you.Hunting in Richloam to Family gatherings I  would always ask is Uncle Ben coming today.I loved to hear you tell hunting and fishing stories and many times sitting around the camp fire you could make us all laugh.All of those times will be cherished dearly.The one thing that is standing out in my mind the most was when we were alone at the Hospital and you wanted me to describe were Logan was fishing so you could visualize it was a precious moment when I started telling you and you closed your eyes and was asking if it was cat tails or lily pads and I said lily pads and you smiled so big and said yeah I can see it.Then you told me that all of us were your kids.You were very blessed to have alot of kids who loves you and Uncle Ben will never be forgotten.I am so glad you are in Heaven and are no longer sick, and I will meet you there. I remember way back when:
Growing up together in school, going to church together and just plain ole hanging out and having fun together. Not just the kids my age but everyone had a good time no matter what we were doing. I feel like we all were FAMILY, so getting this call about Benjie leaving us was one of the hardest phone calls that I have ever taken. I know it's been a long time since we have seen each other, but I want you all to know that you have a special place in my heart. In the upcoming days there will be tears and sadness as Benjie is missed, but remember that he is in no more pain. Do what ever you have to do to stay close together and not to lose the closeness that you all have. GOD and FAMILY is the greatest gifts that anyone can have. Cherish each and everyone every time you get a chance.

Uncle Ben was such a wonderful person and friend.  Whether,  he offered you a chair to sit on or a jacket to keep you warm he was so kind.  He was willing to do anything for anyone.
