Billie Jo Andes Escamilla Carr, 86, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021. Billie Jo had a beautiful and joyful personality that always made everyone she knew laugh. She loved everyone and no one was a stranger. A loving, Christian woman who often attended Church of God services among several Christian based affiliations who taught the teachings of the Bible. Billie Jo was a true old fashioned Christian woman from Sevierville, Tennessee, living here in Florida for over 56 years. Her beautiful southern accent and charm never left her. She taught us to be kind and forgiving, to set aside our differences and love each other. She loved her family more than herself, a selfless woman who gave and never expected to receive. She was the laughter in the room and the lady with the stories. She was loved by anyone who met her.
She leaves behind, daughter, Cindy Sarro, son in law, Robert Sarro, grandchildren, Jessica Eveld, husband Eddie Eveld, Sabrina Artiles, husband Luis Artiles, Robert Sarro Jr and Loren Sarro. Great grandchildren, Alina Artiles and Isaiah Artiles. Nieces, Jewell Christine Rankin, Cynthia Kay Taylor, Cathy Jo Brown, Karen Annette Russo and Yvette Hope Purgason, nephew, Jack Gale Andes. Preceded in death by her husband, Earl Carr, her father, Joe Knox Andes, her mother Mary Wisecarver Andes Tarwater, her brother, Jack Andes, wife Dorothy Andes , brother Herman Andes, wife Judy Andes, and her beloved sister Louella Miller, husband Frank Miller. A loving nickname of “BEDOE” followed her for over 65 years by close family members, abbreviated version of Billie Jo given to her from niece Christine Rankin as a child.
She has left us, we are sad but we know she has eternal life in Heaven, my beautiful and loving Mom, Billie Jo.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
