Charles "Chuck" Lee Hargis

Charles Lee "Chuck" Hargis, age 66 of Winter Garden, Florida passed away on February 13, 2011. He was born in Belleville, Illinois on October 5, 1944. Chuck and his wife moved to Florida 8 years ago and he worked for Mears Transportation as a Bus Driver. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Irene; his son Bruce Hargis and his wife, Yvonne; his mother, Elaine Hargis; his brother and sisters: Joan Farris, Barbara Bretz and husband Karl; Sarah Thompson and husband Myron; Miriam Poston and husband Ken; Lawrence Hargis and wife Nancy and Lorna Von Tagle and husband Ronald; and by his 3 beloved grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 16. 2011 at 6:00 PM at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Orlando, FL with Dr. Gerald Schultz officiating. A Memorial Service will also be held in Baldwin, Illinois at St. John's Lutheran Church on February 26, 2011.

In lieu of flowers, the famly requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, the Diabetes Association or to Vitas Hospice in memory of Mr. Hargis.
