

Doris Berardi, of Daytona Beach, FL died peacefully on Monday, November 1, 2021. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ on September 5, 1931 to Jacob and Anna Pacansky, she grew up with 7 brothers and 6 sisters, helping to raise her younger siblings after the passing of her mother at an early age. She worked on production lines at Gordon’s Gin, DuPont and later Industrial Deli. Doris met her husband, Nicholis and they were married in 1955. They had two daughters, Carol and Joanne, and a son, Robert. Doris volunteered as an election poll worker for many years and in a school cafeteria. She moved to Florida in 1987. She was a life member of the Catholic Slovak Union, and a member of the Sons of Italy in Florida and the Blessed Sacrament Council of Catholic Women in Clermont, FL.
Doris was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Nicholis. She is survived by her daughters, Carol of Wesley Chapel, FL and Joanne of Brick, NJ, as well as her son Robert (Michelle) of Daytona Beach, FL. She had 5 grandchildren, Ryan and Kelsey(Tom) of NJ, John of FL and Melissa(deceased) and Meagan(deceased). She was recently blessed with two beautiful great granddaughters Emily and Sophia of NJ. Doris is also survived by sisters Helen, Eleanor and Irene of NJ. She was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Anna, brothers John, Mike, Andy, Frank, George, Jake and Joe, and sisters Mary, Margaret and Annie.
