Dorothy Tavernier, age 81 of Umatilla, FL passed away on Jan. 14, 2012. She was born in Togus, ME on Nov. 4, 1930. She graduated from Coney High School and she worked as a Lab Technician for Frito Lay prior to her retirement. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Thomas; her 3 children: Cathy, Mitchell and Michelle; her 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Jan. 20 at 10 AM in the chapel of Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made Cornerstone Hospice in memory of Mrs. Tavernier.
