Jesus "Tito" Alberto Delgado Cruz

Nació el 29 de Agosto de 1950 en Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, hijo de los difuntos Jesus Delgado Burgos y Ada Cruz Burgos. Era un negociante muy hábil, un hombre cariñoso y generoso que se desvivía por su familia.

En 1979 conoció a su esposa, Isabel Davila. Eran vecinos y dia tras dia sin fallar, Jesus la esperaba al frente de su casa para hablar con ella. Se casaron en 1982 y tuvieron una hija, Damaris (Delgado Davila) Rosado.

Después de retirarse en el 2008, sus intereses incluían tallar a mano, jardinería, cocinar, viajar y consentir a sus nietos.

Sus sobrevivientes incluyen, su esposa de 38 años de matrimonio, Isabel Davila, su hija Damaris Rosado y su esposo Carlos, sus hermanos, Gloria Delgado Cruz, Maria Delgado Cruz y Angel Luis Delgado Cruz y sus tres nietos, Kalia Isabel, Emmett Daniel e Isaac Elias.

Jesus Alberto Delgado Cruz, 70, of Clermont, FL passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

Born on August 29, 1950 in Yabucoa, PR, he was the son of the late Jesus Delgado Burgos and the late Ada Cruz Burgos. After graduating from Teodoro Mora High School, he went on to study in the police academy. Being an entrepreneur came easily to him, he held many businesses throughout his life, his most popular being a small food kiosk where he sold his pastries and baked goods.

In 1979 he met his wife, Isabel Davila. As neighbors, Jesus would wait daily on his front porch for her to walk past on her route to work. They wed in 1982 and went on to have one daughter, Damaris (Delgado Davila) Rosado.

After retiring in 2008, Jesus spent his time whittling, gardening, cooking, rooting for the New York Yankees and spoiling his grandchildren as much as possible.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Isabel Davila, his daughter Damaris Rosado and husband Carlos, two sisters, Gloria Delgado Cruz and Maria Delgado Cruz, a brother, Angel Luis Delgado Cruz and three grandchildren, Kalia Isabel, Emmett Daniel, and Isaac Elias.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home.
