

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Richard and Charlotte Mihu. Rick was married to Jeanmarie (Pevec) on May 12, 1990. Rick is survived by his wife Jeanmarie, of 35 years; their two children Alyssa Beckman (husband Ross, grandchildren Oakleigh and Baby Boy due June 17), David Mihu (fiancée Emma Weiskopf); his brothers Robert Mihu and James Mihu (spouse Lisa, nieces Sierra and Lindsay); his mother and father-in-law Ladislas and Virginia Pevec; brother-in- law Timothy Pevec; sister-in-law Terese Cardoso (spouse Dennis, nephews Reed, Camden and Crewe); nephew Scotty Michael (spouse Mary Morgan, great nephew Ford); and Drew Michael (spouse Jacqui, great nephew Banks).
Rick will be remembered by all who knew him for his strong faith and steadfast love of his wife and family. He displayed courage, optimism and grace every day during his journey with Multiple Sclerosis. He will forever be remembered by his humor, love of classic rock and devotion to Cleveland Sports.
Rick blessed everyone he met and was blessed by so many loving people who cared for him during life's journey, and for you we will be eternally grateful.
Visitation will be held Friday March 20, 2026, 4-7 pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home 428 E. Plant St, Winter Garden, Florida 34787.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church 1211 Winter Garden Vineland Rd, Winter Garden, Florida 34787
Immediately following The Memorial Mass, a gravesite committal service will be held at the City of Winter Garden Cemetery, 13636 Lake Butler Blvd, Winter Garden, Florida 34787
After the committal service, a Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held at the Oakland Park Club House 1000 Civitas Way, Winter Garden, Florida 34787
The family is requesting, in lieu of flowers, to consider a donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
