Ruth Ann Carter

Ruth was born on February 8, 1944, in Paris, KY, to Paul and Ruby Craig. As the daughter of a United States Air Force veteran, she traveled the country with her mother and siblings, following their father wherever he was stationed. Ruth eventually planted her roots in Ohio.

One evening, she agreed to substitute for a friend's bowling league. Little did she know, this would be where she would meet the love of her life, Bill. They married on March 22, 1970, and together raised six wonderful children. These children gave them many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who Ruth cherished watching grow over the years. As a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, there was no greater joy for Ruth than the time she spent with her family and friends.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ruby Craig; her husband, Bill Carter Sr.; her siblings, Shirley, Kay, Sue, and Billy; and her children, Shera, Jim, and Tricia Ann.

She is survived by her brother, Paul Craig (Dee); her children, Bill Carter Jr. (Fran), Bunny Carter, Mike Crowe, and Anna Caswell (Larry); numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; and many dear family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Baldwin-Fairchild Winter Garden Funeral Home, located at 428 E Plant St, Winter Garden, FL 34787 on Wednesday, March 26th, the viewing will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by the service at 5:00 PM.
