Betty Lou Joiner

Betty Lou Joiner, 77, of Winter Haven, entered into rest on November 20, 2013 due to heart failure. She was born on Dec. 22, 1935 in Inman, VA. She graduated from Polk Vocational Technical Center of Nursing in 1981, and was a Licensed Practicing Nurse at Winter Haven and Hardee Co. Memorial Hospitals. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Moose Lodge in Winter Haven.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Joiner, and her parents. She is survived by her six children, Burt Needham, Amanda Needham, JoAnna Smith, all of Winter Haven, Teresa Needham, of Eagle lake, Wanda Johnson, of Bartow, and Dennis Needham, of Troy, AL. five brothers, two sisters, 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 24th, from 2 to 4 pm, with a service on Monday, Nov. 25th, at 1 pm, both will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral home in Winter Haven.
