Cindy Jane Platt

Cindy was born on April 8, 1967, and was a devoted homemaker throughout her life. She found joy in the simple things—yard sales, and spending time with her friends and grandchildren.

Cindy was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her greatest treasures in life were her children and grandchildren, whom she cherished above all else. She spent her life making sure everyone around her felt happy and loved. Always ready to lend a hand, Cindy loved being needed and went out of her way to help others in any way she could.

She is survived by her daughters, Tonya Castilleja (Roger) and Crystal Grissom (Matt); her sons, James Taylor (Tanya), Edward Taylor, and Charles Taylor. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 6 siblings.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, John Platt Sr.; her mother, Darlene Platt; and her brothers, Jimmy Platt and John Platt Jr.

Above all else, Cindy loved God, her daddy, and her momma. Her loving spirit and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
