I'm so sorry to hear about John's passing.  We were the first cousins born in the family and grew up together.  I have fond memories of playing in our yard and in his.  His house was where I first looked into a View Master!  I remember his dad (Uncle Bud) taking home movies of all of us.
I'm glad that on my last trip to Indiana with my mom, we got to visit with him for a while.  I wish I had known sooner. 

Our hearts are heavy and it's hard to imagine life without you in it. We've all shared so many great memories with you. I wish we could go back and do it all again! It was my honor to know you and be your daughter in law.  We will cherish you in our hearts forever. We love you very much and we'll see you again ❤

Dad, you were the first one I'd think of first when I had a question about something or when I just needed some support. You were always there for me and I thank you for that. You were the best dad that I could of ever asked for. I'm thankful to God for providing me a dad as wonderful as you. Love you so very much

He was my best friend growing up. I always looked up to him, thinking he could do no wrong. Always wanting to be just like him. I admired him, I listened and learned from him, and I can't remember one time he ever disrespected me. We had dissension, but never argued. I loved him dearly. He was my last remaining family member. He was my big brother.
