Avon Park- Mary Ella Lundy Waters, age 92, of Avon Park, FL passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013. She was born August 10, 1921 in Tifton, GA the daughter of John W. Coburn and Jessie L. (McDaniels) Coburn. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Eagle Lake where she served in the Women’s Missionary Group. She was a secretary for the City of Winter Haven.
In addition to her parents and siblings, Mary was preceded in death by her husbands: Charles Robert Lundy, Jr., and Jack Waters and daughter: Judith Gail Lundy Soboleski. She is survived by her son: Bob Lundy (Mary), step son: Bill Waters (Pam), 7 grandhildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Monday, October 14, 2013 from 1-2 pm with funeral services at 2:00 pm, both at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven.
