Winter Haven - Stanley J. Butler, age 89, of Winter Haven, FL died July 11, 2011 at Consulate Health Care due to heart failure. He was born April 12, 1922 in Utica, NY the son of Stanley F. and Lillian Brewster Butler. He was a lineman for New York Telephone Company. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member if the Whitesboro Baptist Church in NY, and a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his daughter Donna LaRve. He is survived by his wife, of 66 years, Carol C. Butler, sons Dennis Butler and Doug Butler, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation is Saturday, July 16, 2011 from 9-10 am with memorial services at 10 am at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 645 West Central Avenue, Winter Haven, FL 33880. Phone: (863) 293-2133.
