Tish Barton

A lifelong resident of Winter Haven, Florida, she worked as a nurse for 40 years. She was a lover of animals and enjoyed the Great Smoky Mountains and camping on the highest mountain where she felt closest to God. She was a member of the Highlands Church of Christ.

Tish is survived by her children, Doug Barton, Val Barton, Sandy Rodgers (John), and Bill Barton; sister Dixie Hansel, and brother Hal Johnson (Diane); as well as her grandchildren, Emily Rodgers (Jeffrey), Allie Rodgers, and Natalie Middlebrook (Hunter), and great grandchildren Elliott Rodgers and Beau Middlebrook. Tish was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Barton.

A gathering of family and friends for Tish will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 645 W Central Ave, Winter Haven, Florida 33880 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Tish will be laid to rest at Eagle Lake Church of Christ Cemetery.
