Betty A Blaze

Elizabeth “Betty” Blaze passed away on March 6, 2015 at her home at the Mayflower Retirement Center. A sixty-two year resident of Winter Park, Betty was pre-deceased in 2001 by her husband of fifty-two years, Sydney Blaze. Ms. Blaze had a long teaching and counseling career, most of it with the Orange County school system. She is survived by daughter and her husband, Cathy and Ken Kupke, of Leesburg, Fl; her son and his wife, Doug and Christy Blaze, of Knoxville, Tn; daughter Suzi Blaze of Gainesville, Fl; and six grandchildren.

At this time, there are no services planned. A Private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Mayflower Scholarship Fund (1620 Mayflower Court, Winter Park, Fl. 32792) or the Winter Park Public Library (460 E. New England Avenue, Winter Park, Fl. 32789).
