After high school, Blake and I shared an apartment for around a year. Before then, I spent time with Blake in high school. He was always a kind, generous, thoughtful, and caring young man. Even at the young age of 17 he always put others before himself and that was consistent the entire time I knew him, he was the type of friend you could always depend on if you needed help. I was 17 years old and my first serious long term girlfriend with her mother took me on a trip to New Your City where temperatures where currently 3 degrees with snow. Upon hearing that I was going to such a cold climate for a week and knowing myself and my girlfriend as friends, he offered me his personal incredibly nice & valuable parka style jacket to take for as long as I needed with no questions asked. When I asked him if he was sure since it was so nice and it was his, he told me “of course man!” and that  it would be with him tomorrow and I will be getting it to wear for my vacation then, he was genuinely happy to help and that was Blake. I had never been up north in such cold weather and in temperatures that reached -3 degrees and I was perfectly warm thanks to Blake. When most teenagers just looked out for themselves he was looking out for his friends. That is just one of many stories that show his amazing character. Rest In Peace my friend you are sincerely missed. -J

To the Family of Blake

I am so so sorry for your loss.  I didn’t know Blake personally, but I heard about him from my daughter who had the pleasure of meeting him in FL.   He held a special place in her heart, as well as mine.  He helped my daughter thru some tough times and I will always be grateful.  

I do know how it is to lose a child, as I lost my son a little over 2 years ago.  Be kind to yourselves.  It’s not an easy journey but Blake would want you all to be happy.  

He will be in your hearts forever❤️🙏

Your son was a blessing and comfort to my family.  He was a great mentor and positive influence in my son, Ronnie's life...I am forever grateful.
