She married her true love, John, on October 19, 1957, in Massachusetts, and they moved to Orlando the following year. She was a stay-at-home mom, taking care of her four children until she went to work in the retail service industry. When she retired, she started caring for two of her great-grandchildren for almost six years, which brought her an abundance of joy.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, jigsaw puzzles, taking care of the neighborhood cats and cruising, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She wants to be remembered as always being positive and to remind people that “every day is a good day.” She left with love and was greeted with love.
Brenda is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Greg) Beedlow and Barbara (Lisa Kepics) DeBoer; her grandchildren, Cindy (Drew) Gillespie, Jason (Nikki) Beedlow, Chris (Amy) Burdette, and Dr. A.J. Her husband, John, and daughter, Bonnie Drumheller, preceded her in death.
