Jena Archer Broyles, 87, of Winter Park, Florida went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 4, 2020. She was born on April 11, 1933 in Jellico, Tennessee to the late Lee and Inez Archer.
Jena was a woman of great faith and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Winter Park where she taught Sunday school and worked with the Girls in Action program. Early in her marriage, she and her husband lived in New York City where she worked for the New York Telephone Company and was instrumental in planting Southern Baptist Churches. She then spent over 20 years working for Sears before retiring and devoting her time to her family, faith and cheering on the University of Tennessee. A true southern lady, she never met a stranger and was outgoing, kind and compassionate. Jena was loved and respected tremendously by all who knew her and her sweet charm will be missed.
Meeting her in Heaven is her husband, William M. Broyles; siblings, Gladys Slagle, Vera McGinley, Helen Cole and John M. Archer.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Patricia Atchison and husband, Robert; Kimberly Tepker and husband, Craig; grandson, Griffin Atchison as well as nieces, nephews, extended family members and numerous friends.
