He was born in Baltimore Maryland on 7/12/1921. Louis graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and received Engineering and Science certificates while working at Lockheed Martin Company.
He was married to Audrey Virginia Corrier on 7/30/45.Louis had a career in Engineering for Lockheed Martin from which he retired in 1983.He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and honored by participation in the U.C.F. Veteran’s Project. Louis enjoyed singing, ham radio, golfing, fishing and spending time with family and friends with whom he shared his passion for making steamed crabs.
He is survived by his son, Louis J. Zeller, Jr., daughters Carole Foudos and Suzanne Washick, Grandchildren Matthew Zeller, Heather Lopez, Jessica Hammerbacher, Jimmy Foudos, Collin Washick, Charlotte Washick, and great-grandchildren Jayden Hammerbacher, Lucy Hammerbacher, Aribella Lyons and Nash Lyons.Louis is the last of his immediate family members to pass. A celebration of Louis’ life will be held 11:00 Friday, 2/9/2018 at Highland Memory Gardens.
