Norman Alden Rice, Sr. passed away January 1, 2017. He was born in Portland, Oregon on December 17, 1942. Norman graduated from St. Petersburg Sr. High School and received a Business Degree from Valencia Community. College. He was married to Judith Harris Rice on July 7, 1961. Mr. Rice retired from the US Navy, worked with Orange County Corrections, Brunswick Police Department. He also served as an ordained minister/missionary. He was a member of The Praise Place Church and Innercity Outreach. He had a passion for Church, Youth Ministry and Seminole's Football. He was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne Douglas Rice and is survived by his wife Judith; son, Norman Alden Rice, Jr. and daughter, Jennifer June Phillips; grandchildren, Alden Rice, Tyler Phillips , Georgiamae and Zachamae Phillips; brother, John Rice and sisters, Donna Roach and Ruth Martin; as well as his extended family and friends.
