Raul Santiago, 91 years young, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on December 3rd, 2015. He was born in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico on August 12th, 1924. He was married to Adela Santiago on April 7th, 1956 in Bronx, New York. He was a member of Crucillita, a part of the Catholic Church. He loved to go to baseball games and watch boxing matches. In his later years, he loved to work in his garden in Puerto Rico, cutting down plantain fruit. His strong hands helped Adela in making coquito and pasteles during the holidays. He could strike up a conversation with anyone he met and always saw the good in people. He especially loved to see his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his infectious smile never leaving his face. He was survived by his children, Ivette Del Carpio, Raul Santiago, Jr., and Evelyn Valentin; his grandchildren, Raul Scarmack, Priscilla Del Carpio, Jennifer Del Carpio, Venessa Del Carpio, Anthony Michael Santiago, and Brittany Marie Santiago; his great-grandchildren, Janeisa Kaylin Sullivan, Jazlyn Ava Cabell, Khloe Malia King, Xavier Liam King, and Zachary William Geesey; his siblings Daniel Morales, Maria Morales, Elba Morales, and Olivia Morales.
