

Robert E. Broadway, Sr. 81 of Oviedo, Florida passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born July 17, 1930 in Mt. Kisco, New York the son of the late Robert S. Broadway and Mary Clark Broadway. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a carpenter for many years in Connecticut before retiring to the Central Florida area. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Roslyn Broadway; son, Robert E. Broadway, Jr.; daughters, Cynthia (Tony) Stephens, Deborah (Joe) Titta, Sharon Broadway, Jacqueline (Chris) Marino and Traci (Jeffrey) Cannon; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Carey-Hand Cox Parker Funeral Home. Private graveside services will be held at Florida National Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour to service time. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
