Robert Brendan Carr, 25, beloved firstborn, native of Orlando and grandson of the late Mayor Bob Carr, was killed while riding his motorcycle on May 25. A graduate of Edgewater High School, Class of 2006, and four-year member of the Marching Eagle Band, Brendan loved music, history, movies and (very much so) his friends and family. He was an excellent drummer and dedicated band member who rocked the house. Brendan was a big guy with a big warm hug; he was the child that changed his parents' lives forever. Brendan is survived by his mom and dad, DeAnn and Bob Carr, Orlando, and his brother Michael, New York City. A memorial is planned. The family asks all drivers to be alert for motorcycles and all cyclists to wear their helmets.Donations in Brendan's name can be made to the Christian Service Center, att'n Robert Stuart, or to the Edgewater High School Marching Eagle Band, att'n principal Dr. Michele Erickson.
