

Rose Marie Brower, 82, of Winter Park, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. She was born on April 28, 1934 in Manhattan, New York to the late Jacob and Lillian (Waldvogel) Skibik. Rose was a retired Secretary for the United States Government. She enjoyed water aerobics four days a week at the Winter Park YMCA along with playing cards at the Goldenrod Civic Center two days a week. Rose was an avid NY Yankees fan and Dallas Cowboys watcher. She watched the Cowboys just so she could talk with her son Wayne. She also watched Fox News with Bill O’Reilly consistently with her daughter Sandra and discussed the bible with her son-in-law Chad. She was Catholic by faith. Rose is preceded in death by her children’s father, Keith. Survivors include her son, Wayne and his wife Mary Brower of Winter Park, Florida; daughter, Sandra and her husband Chad Barton of New Smyrna, Florida along with four grandchildren, Dallas and Carly Brower, Jessica Barton and Kathleen Barton-Bloechinger.
The family will be having a Gathering of Family & Friends on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Goldenrod Chapel, 7520 Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32792 followed by interment at Oviedo Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.baldwinfairchildgoldenrod.com.
