

Rowland “Ron” Robert Isler, 81, of Orlando, Florida, passed into eternity, Saturday, August 13, 2016 after a lengthy illness. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 19 at Baldwin Fairchild, 301 Northeast Ivanhoe Blvd, Orlando, FL 32804. Internment at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando will follow. Friends may attend the viewing from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18th at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Those wishing to sign Ron’s guestbook may do so at BaldwinFairchild.com Ron was born January 18, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to Charles and Marion (Greene) Isler. He joined the Air Force during the Korean War in 1955 and in 1956, married Anne Burnett of Columbus, Ohio. Together they shared a love of ballroom dancing and they joined the Denzare dance club. He was employed as the Director of Administration at Swan Cleaners in Columbus for 22 years. Together, he and Anne raised three sons in Columbus until the decision was made to move to a better climate to ease Ron’s back pain. Upon moving to Orlando in 1984, he established a business “Crown Limousine” here in Central Florida and was quite successful. He also was a member of ‘Belles and Beaus’ which meets every Wednesday evening at the Mark Street senior center to enjoy ballroom dancing. Additionally, he enjoyed swimming, gardening and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Ron is survived by Anne, (his wife of 61 years) three sons, Kevin Isler, Todd Isler and Jason Isler as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
