Tom Lowe

25 November, 19634 April, 2021

Tom Lowe was born on Thanksgiving, November 25, 1963 in St. Petersburg, Florida. The family settled in Winter Park, Florida in 1965 where Tom attended Aloma Elementary, Glenridge Middle, and Winter Park High. After experiencing only a few means of employment, he tried tree work and fell in love. After that he dedicated his life to the care and maintenance of trees.

He started a business, A-1 Arborist, in the late 80's and contributed to his community by helping to save nuisance trees or removing unsafe ones. With his business he helped a lot of people by employing them or giving them a hand up.

He loved all animals, especially cats, rescuing 15 or more throughout his life.

Tom will be truly missed by everyone who entered his life. He is survived by his mother Sally, brothers Bob and Perry, nephews Michael and David, and niece Ashley.

In lieu of flowers, a gofundme account has been set up in his name. Scroll down for link, Celebration of Life details & to leave condolences in the online guest book.

Tom Eugene Lowe always treated me like Gold and I will miss talking with him. He was a giver and not a taker; as he always helped more than anyone could hurt

My old friend. Haven't seen you in many years but your passing still hit hard.

I can't believe you are really gone. I have so many great memories that we shared together. From going jet skiing with you as a kid on the Econ River, playing video games with you when you were babysitting my brother and I, or letting me ride with you to go on tree estimates, I cherished every minute of it. But my favorite memory was when you FINALLY let me work on one of your tree jobs. It meant that I was finally a man in your eyes. I'll never forget it. Thank you Tom for everything you did for me over the years. I'm proud that I'm able to call you my uncle. I'll miss you so much.
