Vivian Tedder Egan, age 87, passed away August 31, 2015 after a brief hospital stay. She was born in New Smyrna Beach, FL, the daughter of Bert and Beatrice Shattuck Tedder. She attended Titusville High School and St. Vincent’s College in Jacksonville where she received her nursing degree. Vivian served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, then went in to Civil Service and continued to serve at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, DC. There she met her husband Arthur John Egan of Savage, MN. They were married for 40 years until his death in 1994. Vivian is survived by her son, Bert M. Egan; daughter and son-in-law, Robin Egan Boyd and John Boyd; and the light of her life, her grandson John Boyd, Jr. She retired as a Registered Nurse and was a past member of the Pioneer Chapter #99 OES and a Mother Advisor for the Winter Park Assembly #82, Order of Rainbow for girls.
