The families of Scott Black, David Fenn, Jennifer Fenn Miller, my brother, Wayne (Bud) Foster, and us, Joe and Lynn Richker came from three states to honor my mother with the Memorial Service at Broadway Methodist Church in Orlando, FL. on July 15th.  It was a wonderful celebration with friends and family.  We really enjoyed the service with lots of music and singing...my mother's favorite songs played on the piano by Al and the organ by David.  The food the Ladies' Ministry had prepared for us was very tasty (along with those wonderful pound cakes!).  

THANK YOU Rev. Rodney for allowing Joe and I to take part in the program.  I am sure my mother really loved those messages.  

Even though her last couple of years were filled with poor health and pain, she loved seeing friends and family when they came to visit.  She still had her sense of humor...cutting up with family just a matter of days before she passed.  She will be missed by all who loved her.  Mama was a shining example of forgiveness, love and grace to all who knew her.  

I must add this because of its importance:  on July 4th at 11:00 pm, she told the night nurse "I am going to die tonight and I have had a talk with the LORD.  She passed away at 4:45 am and is now in Heaven with those loved ones who went before her.  There is NO OTHER better place to be!

I worked with Winnie at  a company called Leeds. (1980+) She was a wonderful lady.  We always exchanged Christmas cards thru the years.
My thoughts are with her family.  She will be missed.....
