Arthur is reunited with his family in the spirit world and was predeceased by his parents Ewen and Alice; brothers: Leon, Cyril, Brian and Bernard; sister Vivian; children Jamie and Patricia; special uncle Harvey and his good friends Googie and Jerry.
Art is survived by his children: Jaden (Candie), Toni (Ed), Tia (Nathan), Leon (Jaylee), Finolla (Trae), Sundance (Brookelyn), Janeen and Tanya; siblings Keitha and Garth; grandchildren: Tiara, Scottie, Justin, Jordan, Robbie, Taran, Dillon, Darian, Shaeli, Austin, Kelsey, Jayla, Aijiah, Xander, Tayen, Ariana, Alaina, Annalee, Killian and Shaqualo, and the special women in his life: Cauli, Sharon, Cheryl and Lisa.
Art served as a Councilor for Carry The Kettle Nakoda Nation for over 20 years and was also a carpenter during that time. He loved playing sports, especially fastball, softball and hockey. Art was a humble, reserved man who enjoyed the company of his family and friends.

A wake will take place in Carry The Kettle Community Centre, Carry The Kettle First Nation on Monday, October 12, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service be held in the same location on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The interment will take place in the Middle Cemetery, Carry The Kettle First Nation.
