Bernise J. "Yogi" Sparvier

Meeting her for her journey are her parents Joseph and Delvina Sparvier; brothers: Gary, Brian and Floyd in infancy; special cousin Mervin Ironeagle; sisters: Mavis, Donna and Audrey; brothers-in-law: Aaron, Clement, Donald and Jim; nieces: Diahnne, Richael, Toni and Joscelyn and nephew Keith.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 38 years Ervin Papequash; children: Gary, Sienna (Stanley) and Calvin; grandchildren: Winter, Aniiah, Kemper, Jazzmyn, Brynlee, Benjamin and Khadijah; sisters: Diahnne, Janet (Carl), Pearleen (Ken), Cynthia, Amy and Ida; brother Blair; many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends and relatives.

A wake was held in the Zagime Community Complex, Zagime Anishinabek on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. Traditional feast and funeral service was held in the Zagime Community Complex on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. officiated by Wayne Kaye. Interment followed in the Zagime United Cemetery.

The pallbearers were: Donald Sparvier, Isaiah Sparvier, Paxton Sparvier, Joseph Sparvier, Randall Sparvier and Ryan Sparvier.
