He was predeceased by his parents John Haywahe and Sadie Haywahe (nee Eashappie)
and eldest sister Viola.
He is survived by his daughters Melanie, Josie, Larissa and Alayah; his siblings: Loby (Calvin), Brenda, Tim, Jake (Holly), Cindy, Laurie (Lyndon), Kevin (Tanya) and Elton (Rebecca), a special aunt Nancy Eashappie and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; adopted brothers Rob Dilts, Dougie Rain, and Donny Rain, adopted sister Maxine Tapper as well as his adopted Pratt family from Muscowpetung.
The wake was held in Carry The Kettle Community Centre, Carry The Kettle First Nation on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. The funeral service was held in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Carry The Kettle First Nation on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Scott Cruikshank and Harold Blacksmith officiating. The interment followed in the Haywahe Cemetery, Carry The Kettle First Nation.
