

Corinne was born on November 15, 1945 in Indian Head, Saskatchewan to Wilfred Coupal Jr and Emma Coupal. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who found joy in caring for animals and helping others. She rescued many stray cats and dogs and was known as the local humane society for the town. She was active with numerous organizations in the community including the CWL and the Red Hatters. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends in various activities including curling, attending old time dances and many card games.
Corinne was predeceased by her first infant son in 1966; second son in 1968 and the third son in 1969; her father Wilfred Coupal Jr in 1977; her mother Emma Coupal (Lavoy) in 2007; step-grandson Kye Ball in 2017 and brothers-in-law: Joseph Stoppler in 2024, Murray Hewalo in 2025, Floyd Moreside in 2025 and Philip Dusyk in 2025.
She is survived by her husband Henry Stoppler of 45 years; sons Kevin (Rose) Ripplinger and Rodney Ripplinger; daughters Shelly Wiggins (Al Kaufmann) and Tanya (Jeff) Slinn; father of her children Wendal Ripplinger; step-children: Paul (Loralie) Stoppler, Anita Webster, Trevor Stoppler, Wanda (Chris) Ball and Chris (Sabrina) Stoppler; 21 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters Gloria Dusyk and Laurencia Hewalo; brother Joseph (Donalda) Coupal; sisters-in-law: Rosalie Gorniak, Theresa Stoppler and Phyllis Stoppler and many nieces and nephews.
Her fondest memories are adopting her four children, camping, sliding down the hills in the gravel pits and feeding stray animals.
