On Wednesday, May 11, 2022 Daniel “Turk” Pasap died suddenly at the age of 33.
Daniel was predeceased by his great great grandparents Daniel and Olypme Kennedy; great grandparents Hector and Lena Eashappie and Samuel Whitecap; grandfather Robert Eashappie; grandmother Arlette Whitecap; father Daniel Wayne Pasap Sr.; mother Deanna Lee Whitecap and brother Doylen Wade Pasap.
He is survived by his daughter Aubrey; sisters: Raquel, Renee and Phoenix; nieces: Haylee-Rae, Kaylee, Ava, Arianna, Ayvree and Parker; nephews Troy and Doyle; aunties: Roberta, Donna, Daniela, Carla and Pearleen; uncles: Erwin, Morris, Murray, Rob, Mathew and Art and their spouses. Daniel is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
There are many who looked up to him as a brother and as a friend. With his contagious personality and laugh, he loved each and everyone of his family and friends dearly.
The wake was held in House #172, Carry The Kettle First Nation on Tuesday, May 17, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service was held in House #81 on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. by Elder Tim Poitras. Interment followed in South Cemetery.
