On Thursday, July 13, 2011, Don Nickolson, beloved husband of Pearl Ball, Grenfell, SK., died at the age of 66 years. A public graveside service will be held in the Grenfell Cemetery, Grenfell, SK., on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation. Predeceased by his parents, Ted and Nellie Nickolson, three sisters, Isobel (Alex) Kalnicki, Marianne (Ernie) Emke and Gloria Nickolson in 1949 in childhood. Don is survived by his loving wife, Pearl Ball, two sons, Chris (Wanda) Ball, and family, Kye and Kadince, Indian Head, SK., Allan Nickolson, and daughter, Jazmin, Regina, Sk.; two daughters, Donna (Kevin McBride) Nickolson, Regina, SK., and Janet (Robin Brandt) Nickolson, and their son, Tydin, Regina, SK., as well as his nieces, nephews and their families. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire contributions to a charity of choice may be tokens of remembrance.
