

He was predeceased by his wife Roberta; parents Fred and Emma Hess; parents-in-law Robert and Tena McCall and brothers-in-law Joe Richter, Wayne McCall and Barry McCall.
He is survived by his children: son Darwin (Karmen) and their children: Dayle (Darwin Schneider), Brett (Mark Urschel), Shyla (Lyle Laverdiere) and Laramy; daughter Darnell (Joe Mitchell) and son Dean (Dawn) and their children: Shaelynne (Devin Langlois),Teagan (Cote Bostock), Jace and Kieara; great-grandchildren: Summer, Maya and Wesley; Nova and Olivia; Damon, Austyn, Hudson and Londyn; Raya, Rohen and Rilyn; Kaleb, Ryker and Remilyn; Wrenley and Sutton; his brother Mert (Coleta); his sister Bev; sisters-in-law Ruth McCall and Dianne McCall and many nieces and nephews.
Harold’s family extends heartfelt thanks to: Dr. Bruce Zimmermann and the nurses and staff at Indian Head Hospital; all the family and friends who visited and sent well wishes; Richard Solberg for taking Dad to the hospital; a very special thank you to Larry Neuls and his family for being there for Dad and also for being there for the rest of us.
The graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in the Moffat Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Lynette Callfas. A celebration of life, eulogy and lunch will follow at Dean and Dawn Hess’s acreage, Wolseley, SK.
