He was predeceased by his father, Dean Ross Delorme; brother Michael James Belanger; mushums David Redwood and Ernest Harold Belanger; kookum Mary Belanger.
Ernest is survived by his mother Leota Powderface; special kookum Rena Delorme; sister Deanna Belanger (Clinton); brother Barry Cranebear and his children Dakota, Cash, Kayden, Ciara Belanger, Dreden Ashley Gambler, Sarissa Raydean Belanger, Lila Meyotehew Beaver, Gage D. Reed, Jayce P. Reed and numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and many friends.
The wake will be held in the Cowessess Band Hall, Cowessess First Nation on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Cowessess Band Hall on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Cowessess Cemetery.
