Frederick was born and raised on Cega'kin and raised by his great grandfather Philip Ironstar (Gogo) and his grandma (mom) Amy Kakakaway. He was a talented artist who made works of art including paintings, wood-work and more.
Frederick was predeceased by his father; sibling Crystal Saulteaux; daughters: Patricia Amber, Alana (A’Shay) and Dakota Ironstar.
He is survived by his mother Verna Ironstar; paternal sibling Linda Kakakaway; maternal siblings: Clint Saulteaux, Arnold Saulteaux Jr., Gregory Saulteaux, Calinda Saulteaux and Holly Saulteaux and daughters Tara Ironstar and Amanda Ironstar.
Traditional Services will be held at Cega’kin Nakota Nation in the band hall on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. with Knowledge Keeper Clyde O'Watch. The interment will take place in the South Cemetery.
