Gary Walter Lumsden was born February 8, 1940, in Midland, Ontario to Walter and Alethea Lumsden (both predeceased).
Gary was also predeceased by his wife of 36 years, Nancy (nee Lemieux). Gary has gone to be with his loving wife.
He is survived by twin sisters June Jenkinson (Tom predeceased) and Judy Wilson; nieces and nephews: Christine, Jeff, Tim and Jana; children: Jill Jones (Steven) of Orillia, Ontario, Kim Lumsden of Orillia, Ontario and Bradley Lumsden (Marisa) of Midland, Ontario; grandchildren: Amanda, Lauren, Emily and Brieann and four great-grandchildren.
Gary was a Class A mechanic and worked as the Service Manager for GM dealerships in Ontario, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
Gary and Nancy enjoyed gardening and farming in Whitewood, Saskatchewan.
Gary will be missed by his family and the many friends he made along the way.
