DELORME - On Saturday, April 19, 2014, George (Chauch) Delorme, beloved husband of Eunice Delorme, Cowessess First Nation passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends at the Broadview Union Hospital. George is predeceased by his mother Marjorie Taypotat and his father Louis Sparvier. He is survived by his loving children: Glen (Cheryl), Farley, Wendel (Dawn), Eldon (Stacey), Regan (Jill) and Clorice (Jon); Taypotat brothers: Blair, Junior, Sheldon, Floyd and Dennis; sisters: Joy, Beatrice, Colleen, Iris, Sandra, and Denise.; Sparvier brothers: Tony, Wayne and Todd; sisters: Meranda, Doraleen and deceased Corrine; special family: Herb (Myra), Ken and Rosaline; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. The family of George Delorme would like to extend a special Thank You to the Broadview Union Hospital Staff, as well as Connie, Carmacieta, Pastor Brig Judy and all those who came to visit. The wake will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. at the Kahkewistahaw Community Complex and the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, feast at 11:00 a.m. and service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Brig Judy and Band Elders officiating.
