Geraldine "Geri" Wennberg

She was predeceased by her husband Gordon; parents Gerald and Olive; father and mother-in-law David and Peggy; brother Larry; sister Janet; sister-in-law Willie; nephew Troy; sister-in-law Jean and brothers-in-law Dave and John.

She is survived by her children: Howard, Kevin (Donalee), Grant (Angie), Calvin (Jennifer) and Charleen (Gordon); her grandchildren: Justin (Raquel), Jarred, Jamie, Emily, Sara, Christian (Sidney), Sydney and Cheyanne and her siblings: Charlie (Pat), Harold (Jean), Alfred (Lois), Bob (Deny), Philip (Pat) and Victor.

Geraldine worked at the Broadview Union Hospital for many years until she retired in 2019. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, especially her homemade bread and buns. She enjoyed playing her guitar and singing with her grandchildren. She would do crossword puzzles in her spare time. She loved watching the Saskatchewan Roughriders play. She also enjoyed her flowers and planting a garden. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Geraldine’s family would like to give a special thank you to the Allan Blair Clinic, Moosomin Hospital and Broadview Hospital and all the doctors and nurses at the Pasqua Hospital Emergency Room.

Geraldine’s funeral was held in the Broadview Community Hall, Broadview, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Charlie and Harold Friday officiating. All her family and friends are invited to celebrate her life. A private interment was held.
