Mom was born in Broadview and spent her entire life there. She was devoted to her family and community. As an accomplished pianist she dedicated many hours to the Broadview Catholic Church as organist, choir director and member of the CWL. She served the Broadview Legion for many years as bookkeeper and Poppy Chairman. Mom attended many community events and was always willing to help where she could. She had a passion for animals. Her dogs, mostly from rescue, were a big part of her life and brought her a lot of joy.
Many people will remember Mom from the Post Office and the Credit union where she spent 40 years working between the two businesses. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting in the evenings and gifted the beautiful pieces to family and friends. She loved to cook at home and spent time in the summers cooking at Brownie camp. Her pickles and relish were legendary among family. Mom was loved and respected by her family and all that knew her. We will miss her laugh and all the great times we shared together.
