Jenifer was predeceased by her parents Edith Rose Mathiasen (nee Redwood) and Elmer George; pops Svend Mathiasen; sisters Irene Whitebear (nee George) and Karen L. George and nephew Clayton George.
Jenifer is survived by her children Jennifer Rose George and Joshua George; grandchildren: Georgia Rose Fernstrom, Amanita Rose Fernstrom and Kitana Rose Fernstrom; brothers Michael and Vaughn George; sister Melodie George as well as many loving family and friends.
The wake was held on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. in Chief Denton George Memorial Multiplex. The funeral service was held in the same location on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with Elders Sam Isaac and Allan Delorme officiating. The pallbearers were: Michael George, Vaughn George, Johnathan George, Wade George, Richard George and Mikey George. The interment followed in the Ochapowace First Nation Cemetery.
