A graveside service was held in Graytown Cemetery, Corning District on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. a celebration of Karen's life to followed in Corning Hall.
Karen was predeceased and is now reunited with her daughter Angela Dunn, mother Audrey Stephens, mother and father-in law Marion and Ivan Dunn, and brother-in law Randy Dayman.
Karen is survived by her loving husband Danny, daughter Danielle (Darrell), Glenavon and grandchildren Nicholas & Vanessa Mytopher. Karen is also survived by her father Roy Stephens, Corning, two sisters: Wanda(Richard) Reid, Corning and Cindy (Michael) Hoffmann, Windthorst; one brother Les(Electa) Stephens, Corning; sister-in law Pat Dayman, Corning; brother-in law Larry Dunn, Stoughton as well as nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Karen had a humble kind nature and never hesitated to pitch in when needed in her beloved community of Corning. The simplest pleasures in life brought Karen great joy. Karen enjoyed visiting with family and friends, fishing, playing poker, tending to her flowers and garden, bonfires, drinking a cold beverage in the sunshine at the lake or at home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Karen may be made to Graytown Cemetery, c/o RM of Golden West No. 9, Box 70, Corning, SK S0G 0T0, to a charity of choice, or in keeping with Karen's spirit if you are able, donate your time by volunteering to something that helps others in your community.
