Khrystian was outgoing, caring, kindhearted and humorous. He was fiercely protective, but also polite and always praying. His family will remember his gentle nature and forgiving spirit. Most importantly – the light of Khrystian’s life was his son Zion, who he cherished and loved more than life itself.
Khrystian never shied away from hard work or helping others. His family will always remember and be blessed by all that he gave and provided to their lives. Khrystian was a special blessing and still is. He will forever remain in hearts until we get there too.
Mama and Dad want to thank him for always being so brave. Every single member of his family will always cherish every moment they spent with him, while knowing their lives will never be the same without him. Khrystian’s passing has left a hole in the hearts of his beloved family, but they take solace in the hope they will be reunited with him again one day. The family asks those who loved him to light a candle in remembrance of him and all those lost to overdose. Forever 24.
Khrystian’s mama would like his friends and family to take care of themselves and understand the dangers of the current lethal drug epidemic and the health alert that has been issued because of it. A sharp increase in overdoses have taken place in April, with 140 incidents taking place between April 1st and 21st, which is more than January and February combined. Health authorities are warning everyone the current situation involves a highly unpredictable and potentially dangerous substance supply, with many overdose cases requiring advanced medical support, if the person can recover. Please, take precautions and be safe, carry naloxone and know avoiding using substances is the only way to surely protect yourself. If you must use – don’t use alone and contact 911 immediately if signs of distress are shown.
A Wake will be held in the Chief Denton George Multiplex, Ochapowace First Nation on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will take place in the same location on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Sundance Brass.
