

Olivier Joseph Perras passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2026 in Montmartre, Saskatchewan, surrounded by the love of his family, at the age of 93 years. Olivier was born on November 22, 1932 on the family farm near Montmartre.
Olivier is survived by his wife Agnes of 65 years and his 5 children. He was a proud Pepere to 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren: Lillian (Dave) Lareau: Roger, Joel (Michelle), Owen (Meaghan), Elise (Patrick), Mia and Jaxon; Monique (Kevin) Mandin: Alison (Thomas), Tatum and Blakely; Kirkland (Samantha); Vivian (Chris) Baran: Shae-Lynn (Kale) and new-born baby, Ethan (Leanne) and Isaac; David (Sheri) Perras: Mackenzie (Tricia), Alexander (Kathryn), Emma-Lee (Drew), Jonah, Julian, Ophelia, Phoenix and Scarlett; Michelle (Ken) Hoffarth; Kendra (Tyson), Tristin (Jenaya), Wyatt, Natalie (Benton) Caleb and Liam. Olivier is also survived by his brother Norman Perras; in-laws: Connie Perras, Emile and Celine Perras, Laurentia and Bernard Perron, Rita and Ken Huber, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Lorraine Roy; brother Lucien Perras; half-brothers Napoleon Perras and Ernest Perras and in-laws: Leo Roy, Jeannine Perras, Aime and Annette Perras, Shirley Perras and Gerry Perras.
Dad was an honored community member who was involved in numerous committees and initiatives. He was a faithful man who served his parish for all of his life. He was a gracious giving man who supported countless charitable organizations.
We thank Father Prince for his devotion and support and for ensuring dad’s spiritual needs were met, regardless of where he was. The family would also like to extend their sincere appreciation and thanks to the healthcare providers who were with him during his health journey.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Roman Roman Catholic Church, Montmartre, Saskatchewan, on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Francis (Prince) Kurisinkal.
