Sharon was born on October 7, 1951, in Central Butte, Saskatchewan. She lived and went to school in Chaplin, Saskatchewan. Sharon was the daughter of Wallace and Jessie Hallborg and had seven brothers: Ken, Melvin, Allan, Gord, Niel, Dale, Ron and Kevin.
Sharon and Richard had two children together, Jackie (Chad) and Greg (Lisa). She was a grandmother to five grandchildren: Kaylee (Dillan), Payton (McKinley), Colby, Tyson and Rhett and a great-grandmother to Holdyn, Navie and Brooks.
She was predeceased by her parents Wallace and Jessie; her brothers: Melvin, Allan and Neil and her daughter Jackie.

The celebration of life will be held in the Wolseley Town Hall/Opera House on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 1:00 to 3:30. There will be a private family interment at a later date.
