Sheila Lynn Spencer

She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents John and Annie Ashdohonk; maternal grandparents Robert and Annette Spencer; her dad, former Chief Tony Ashdohonk; brothers: Cameron Spencer, Kurt Spencer and Willie Spencer; her niece Cammy Spencer and grandchild Katie Saulteaux (Heckle).

This beautiful and kind lady is survived by her loving children: son Shawn (Melissa); daughters: Terri (Ivan), Stephanie, Macey, Demi and her youngest daughter whom she called Baby Deedle Jerri (Cody); her grandchildren: Maddy (her favourite), Ellie Mae, Alex and Avery whom she dearly loved; her mother Edna Spencer; brothers: Orval, Anthony and Mark; her sisters: Karen, Cauli, Leanne, Lorenda, Lisa, Chantal and adopted sister Paulette Eashappie.

The funeral service was held in Carry The Kettle Community Hall on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Donnell and Michelle Thomson officiating along with Elder Kurt Ryder. Pallbearers were Leon Adams, Scott Eashappie, Terrence Spencer, Jamie Spencer, Justin Spencer, Jordan Spencer and Shawn Spencer. Honorary pallbearers were all of Sheila’s friends. The interment followed in the Middle Cemetery, Carry The Kettle First Nation.
