Verla was predeceased by her husband Darryl Clark; parents Fred Lerat and mother Stella Trottier.
She is survived by her children: Chrissy Wahpoosewyan, Patricia Wahpoosewayan, Nicole Linton, Rebecca Delorme and son Darryl Clark. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A wake will take place in the Cowessess Community Hall, Cowessess First Nation, on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., in the same location. A meal will follow the service.
