He is survived by his eldest brother Kurt; younger sisters Ruby Gale and Kara; brothers Howard and Lester; his eldest daughter Jaleeca; sons Derrick and Rychel and youngest daughter Brittany; the mother of his children Jennifer; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother Vivian Adams; brothers: Marlon,Vance and Faron; children Brandon and Brianna; uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members.
Vernon was a funny guy who liked to joke and tease. He enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his family.
The service was held in Carry The Kettle Community Hall on Monday June 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral followed at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Kurt Ryder. Interment was held in the Middle Cemetery.
